Haley Rae’s Milestones
2016: Graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Following graduation, I worked on a low-income housing development project: the historical renovation and restoration of the early 20th-century Waite Grass Rug Factory in Oshkosh, WI.
As the last remaining example of Wisconsin’s once-flourishing grass rug industry, historic tax credits were utilized to support extensive environmental remediation and renovations, transforming the former factory into affordable housing for elderly, disabled, and veteran residents—honoring its historical legacy while meeting the community's urgent housing needs.
2017: Joined Impact Seven, a Midwest-based non-profit focused on low-income housing development. Contributed to impactful projects like Garden Terrace Apartments in La Crosse, WI, and Seven04 Place in Milwaukee, WI, helping to create affordable housing solutions and strengthen local communities.
2018: Completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yama Yoga in Milwaukee, WI. I launched my business Haley Rae Yoga, specializing in mindful movement classes. I began teaching Hatha yoga at Blue Luna Yoga and Yama Yoga, as well as chair yoga for individuals 80+ at the YMCA—still one of the most rewarding classes I’ve ever taught.
2019 : Made the move from the Midwest to Seattle, navigating the challenges of relocating while growing my small business, Haley Rae Yoga. I worked to find studios and spaces to teach, building connections in a new community and deepening my dedication to sharing yoga and wellness through intentional movement practices. I feel incredibly lucky to now call the PNW home.
2020: Adapted to the pandemic by shifting all yoga classes online, providing accessible wellness during a challenging time. Personally recorded and edited these sessions, teaching over 600+ virtual movement classes throughout the year. Click here to rent these classes!
2021 : Expanded my expertise and leadership in wellness. Graduated from Pathway Leadership Retreat Training - 120 hours through Work Your Wild in Sedona, AZ. Completed 200-hour Barre Eclipse training in Seattle, WA and became a certified meditation teacher on Insight Timer, sharing mindfulness practices with thousands of virtual students. Started hosting & sharing my tea ceremony workshop with my retreat clients in the USA.
2018 - PRESENT: Through Haley Rae Yoga, I have worked as a Community Impact Teacher specializing in Hatha yoga, Barre, mindful meditation, wellness workshops and retreats. With over 4,000+ teaching hours, I’ve had the privilege of guiding both corporate and private clients. Below is a list of some of the incredible clients I serve:
2022: Became a licensed REALTOR® in Washington State after completing 120 hours of training and passing the state exam. Joined the Sea-Town Team with eXp Realty, where I guided clients through the buying and selling process with care and expertise in Seattle, WA. This was a transformative moment in my career, as I realized I could weave together my experiences in yoga teaching, community engagement, and real estate development to help people connect deeply to their sense of place. Whether it’s finding the perfect home or selling one filled with memories, I approach every transaction with intention and heart. It was during this time that I rebranded my business from Haley Rae Yoga to Haley Rae Moves, reflecting my passion for helping others move—both physically and metaphorically—into spaces that support their lives and well-being.
2023: Transitioned from the Sea-Town Team to *Latitude Regenerative Real Estate* allowed me to join a community of Realtors - Change Agents dedicated to reimagining the connection between people and the land they call home. At Latitude, real estate is more than transactions—it’s about fostering health & wellness, sustainability, ecology, community, and spirit through the *Five Roots of Regenerative Real Estate*.
In 2023, I sold over $1 million in residential real estate and through Latitude was able to expand my role as a USA referral real estate agent, connecting my clients nationwide with like-minded real estate agents who value sustainability and thoughtful investments, helping turn my clients’ goals into reality.
Drawing on my background in wellness, community engagement, and real estate, I launched *Exploration of Home*, a free monthly community series in Seattle, WA, helping my clients explore the connection between their homes and their sense of belonging. I continued to teach wellness movement classes around Seattle and, took this passion internationally by leading my first retreat—*Sketchbook and Yoga* at Château de Borie in Agen, France—bringing people together to cultivate creativity, community, and meaningful connections in an inspiring, beautiful setting.
2024: One of my proudest accomplishments this year was closing a $1.1 million transaction in Seattle's Madrona neighborhood, helping a family find a home that balanced functionality, investment value, and regenerative principles, with the added potential for multigenerational living or rental income.
Guided by the *Five Roots of Regenerative Real Estate*, I continued to support clients in making financially rewarding, climate-conscious home investments. I also expanded my nationwide referral network, connecting clients outside of Washington State with like-minded agents who prioritize sustainable living and thoughtful investments.
Locally, I continued to lead the *Exploration of Home* monthly series for Seattle community members and launched a monthly pug meet-up in my Capitol Hill neighborhood, building community around shared interests.
Beyond real estate, I taught two retreats at *Château de Borie* in Agen, France: the *Sketchbook & Financial Wellness Retreat*. These retreats blended creativity and financial mindfulness, reflecting my commitment to holistic growth and meaningful connections.
